Fashion Profiles

Girls, if you are always on the go (headless chicken spring to mind?) then take a look at this look that I’ve put together. I believe a trendy rucksack is a must-have on the days where you dash here, there, and everywhere. The Kurt Geiger 'Dash' bag reminds me a little of Mary Poppins. You will definitely have plenty of room for your spare pair of shoes, your umbrella, and let's not forget your make up!

So, if you have lots in common with 'Dashing Daisy' and love to carry out your look from dawn to dusk then here are some of my favourite pieces...

Jumpsuit- ASOS

Evening Shoes -  'Yasmin' Kurt Geiger

Or, perhaps you're a bit of a 'Sophisticated Samantha' oozing with elegance? If so this look is the one for you...

Okay, so you might need some inspiration for the perfect date look? I can't say I'm an expert in this whole dating look BUT I am confident if you wear something like this there could well be a second date!!
I can't leave the lonely singletons out (as I am one myself) So I will work on a 'Lonely Leona' look including the very best onsies, slippers and hot water bottles! Be excited - The best look is yet to come!

I hope I have inspired you with some styling and shopping decisions. Payday is next week so why not spoil yourself - I'm pretty sure you deserve to!

Have a great weekend,

Lots of Love,

Kurt Geiger Wedges

Let the wedges do the walking!

If you are looking for a statement wedge, then look no further. These Kurt Geiger wedges will have people drooling with envy. The eye popping colours together with the sport luxe approach will not only make you centre of attention BUT will ensure that you are faster than the rest (if you're a pro in 6 inch heels that is).

Women, wear wedges and go wild - it's as simple as that!

I believe the moment you slip your toes into these striking shoes you will instantly feel like Wonder Woman! So revamp your house into a runway, pretend the high street is the red carpet; but more importantly, make Jessica Ennis proud by releasing your inner sporty Goddess!
It's kind of obvious that the girl wearing the wonderful wedges will win the race, right?

Whether you are looking for a platform wedge, a trainer wedge, a espadrille wedge, or even a pretty pink wedge; then I insist you head over to www.kurtgeiger.com because wedges with the WOW factor are waiting to be worn!

'This season, Kurt Geiger ditches formality for effortless elegance and casual glamour for the girl on the go'.

Here, I present you with a selection of
Kurt Geiger's finest wedges:

Anyway, after many traumatising visions of myself doing the 100m hurdles in the 'Race You' wedges, I've decided it's time for sleep! I suppose practise does make perfect? Any excuse for a new pair of shoes hey!

Night all,

Brilliant Burberry

3.30pm yesterday (Saturday 12th, 2013) couldn’t come soon enough. Unfortunately my invite from Christopher Bailey got lost in the post, I therefore had to make do with watching the live-stream of the Menswear AW/13 show. But to be quite honest with you all, I felt like I was perched on the front row, wedged in between Tinie Tempah and Greg James. So a BIG thank you to the digital technology that we are so privileged to have today. Watching the live-stream brings the collection to life, the colours jump out at you, the textures force your senses to go wild, but more importantly it makes you feel a part of the brand.

I HEART Digital Technology!

Right, It’s time to share some photos with you! All of the images you will see below have been taken from the live-stream. Throughout the stream I continuously captured screen shoot after screen shoot (whilst in complete admiration of course).

As you can see from the above image Olive Green was used frequently throughout the collection. I think this works really well, particularly when introducing BOLD prints and colours as they stand out 10 times more. What I especially like about the Olive Green is it creates a softer touch on the military theme. An array of different features were displayed including: felt patches, back pleats, cavalry twills, oversized collars, cuff straps, along with heritage references and much much more!

Oxblood was then introduced which complimented the soft Olive Green just perfectly! As you most probably know I love leather so when I spotted the contrasting leathers with patent collars I was over the moon!

Can you spot the beautiful print at the back? I bet you're thinking polka dot is back, right? If so, think again...

HEARTS

Lets all feel the love for 2013 and embrace the hearts!

Translucent rubber trench coats ensured that the beautiful heart prints were NOT going to waste...

This is one of my favourite looks from the show...

I'm not entirely sure if the Model himself has influenced my decision, or if the contrasting prints have won me over, or simply because I'm a sucker for a man in a suit. Who Knows! But I mean come on, animal print shoes with a heart print shirt - you can't get much better than that!

You might have noticed in some of the pictures that the models are gripping onto a little something. Well these my friend are Ipad Mini Cases. Christopher Bailey is obviously very fond of Ipad Minis, I can't say I am at the moment - perhaps I'll see the obsession in the near future?
Why not check out their range of cases HERE. I think my favourite has got to be the heart printed one, however the studded calfskin version sits very closely behind in second place!

As I mentioned before the colours jump out at you whilst watching the live-Stream...what do you think of this attention grabbing Royal Purple? You've got to LOVE the wet look finish!

Boxy Caban coats also filled the runway and the above lambskin version is one of my favourites. This is the part where my senses were going wild - I could almost feel the smoothness of the luxurious lambskin.

Duffle Coats also made an appearance...I better whack my one out from the loft which I wore to school many years ago!

Animal prints also made their way onto cross body satchels, totes and boston bags which you can view HERE.

Quirky Sunnies added the final touches to the collection and certainly gave it the WOW factor.

I do not normally like contrasting animal prints, however I think the above caban style coat has been designed and finished just flawlessly.

OH NO...does it have to end?

Take a bow Mr Bailey. You truly are AMAZING!

There are so many other beautiful elements from the show which I haven't managed to squeeze into this post. Also, my pictures are only screen shoots so I do apologise as they aren't the best of quality. Therefore if you fancy watching the live-stream and seeing the collection come to life for yourself, then you can watch it Here.

Sit back, grab some snacks, and just admire the beautiful collection. Like me, you might find yourself watching it over and over again - I can honestly say it only gets better! Surely it's not normal to only watch it once?

OH and before I go, I better show you my nails...after all they were inspired from the Burberry show!

I thought it was only right that my Burberry bangle made an appearance too!

Heart shape tips with some added leopard print.

I hope you like!

London Collections: Men

The past few days my Instagram and Twitter feeds have been bombarded with updates from the London Collections: Men. I'm definitely NOT complaining. It has been rather pleasant seeing dapper men in beautifully designed garments splashed across my Iphone and Mac. Such a rarity.

I'm going to share a few of my favourite pieces with you all. The images you see below have been taken from VOGUE'S website.

Lets start with Hackett London. I'm a sucker for tartan and Hackett have definitely pulled it out the bag...

What do you think? I can't express to you enough how happy I am that tartan is staying with us for Autumn/Winter 13/14!

Start embracing the tartan boys!

Not only am I in love with this jacket (Hackett London) - hello fur, BUT these pin stripe navy trousers have done it for me. Lets be having more of these please!

Hackett London

The deep orange gloves have also won me over...what a perfect way to brighten up a dull, miserable Winter! Small doses of orange were added throughout and I feel this has helped strengthen the collection; giving it that little bit of vibrance.

Richard Nicoll however decided they wanted to embrace the orange on a whole new level...

Richard Nicoll

What do you think Boys? Will you be supporting the tangoed look next fall?

YMC's collection featured this one piece which I have fallen in love with...

YMC

I think its time I update my Pig and Reindeer onsies!

PANELLING...

In my eyes Lou Dalton perfected waist panelling, look at these sharp contrast panels...

'Fix up look sharp'

and yet more panels which have caught my eye...

Jonathan Saunders

The above Jonathan Saunders panelled trousers are AMAZING, If I'm honest with you I would quite like these for myself!

Jonathan Saunders

I'm also really feeling this leather/khaki jacket, again I would be quite happy if this was sitting in my wardrobe waiting to be worn!

Mr Start

Mr Start featured some interesting necklines and I love the above double take on turtle slash V. The block sleeves also tie in very nicely, I like!

Now that's a wrap - I said I was going to share 'a few' pieces. As you can see I class 10 as 'a few' - now it's clear to me why I get through SO many biscuits!

I am very much looking forward to what tomorrow has to offer - especially Tom Ford and Christopher Kane!

(and lets hope there will be lots more pictures of David Gandy floating about)
